ALONE (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) IS OUT NOW!!!

BIO
Born and raised in Leduc, AB, singer-songwriter Carly Reirson captivated audiences with her soaring melodies and honest lyrics. Whether it is love or heartache, Reirson's "sad-folk" songs take you on a journey through the world of human emotion. Inspired by artists such as Brandi Carlile, Rose Cousins and Sara Bareilles, her smooth, yet edgy voice brings you face to face with your own feelings as she shares her stories of love, loss and loneliness.
Reirson has spent the last six years immersed in songwriting, penning the tracks for her upcoming album, Diary of a Beating Heart. The sophomore single from the new album, “Alone,” is a calming folk song that captures the emotions of a person who is traveling through life alone and has a deep longing for human connection and the desire to find someone to share their journey with. The track was written by Reirson and produced by multiple award-winning producer, Murray Pulver (CCMA, WCMA, Canadian Folk, and JUNO). With the steadiness of the guitar, its poignant melody and heartfelt lyrics, "Alone" presents a moving reflection on the human experience of loneliness and the universal need for companionship and love.
"As a solo performing artist, I’m on the road by myself a lot. This song emerged during one of those many road trips as I watched the world whiz past me and wondered when I would get to experience it with someone else.”
Reirson first made her mark on the national music scene in 2017 with her debut EP, Fantasy. The project received two nominations at the 2017 Calgary Music Awards for Blues Recording of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. In 2018, her single “Crooner Sing To Me” won the YYCMA Award for Blues Recording of the Year. Reirson is also no stranger to the stage, having played over 117 shows to date, including five headlining tours throughout Western Canada.
Having a rare ability to connect with audiences, Reirson’s upcoming songs continue to showcase her passion for vulnerability in her music.
“Emotions are universal, and I believe that my songs can be a voice-piece to those who may not know how to put their feelings into words. People so often look to music to express themselves and find meaning for their life. I feel a responsibility to share my story in the hopes that it can serve others as they search for connection with themselves and those around them.”
With her prolific songwriting and commitment to artistic integrity, Reirson proves that she is a much-needed voice for the depth and culture of Canadian music.
